Why Recital 122 Matters for GDPR Compliance?

Recital 122 matters for GDPR compliance because it defines the responsibilities and jurisdiction of supervisory authorities within each Member State. It clarifies that authorities must oversee processing activities within their territory and handle complaints, investigations, and enforcement actions. This ensures that data protection rules are actively monitored and applied at a national level.
